    for kids

The Children’s and Youth Ministry Teams at First Church are dedicated to loving and encouraging children on their journey as they discover God’s truths in relevant, age-appropriate ways. Our goal is that children and youth will learn how the Scriptures apply to their lives, laying the foundation for embracing God’s story and understanding how their story fits into His.  For more information on Children's Ministry contact Lisa Gonzales.  For more information on Youth Ministry contact Chris Linderman.

Congregational Care

Congregational Care

Jesus said: “Let me give you a new command: Love one another in the same way as I have loved you. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples when they see the love you have for each other.”

The focus of the Congregational Care Team is to respond to the care and support needs within and beyond our congregation.

Congregational Care volunteers visit people who are in the hospital, as well as those who are in a nursing home or need a home visit.  For those who need transportation to a doctor visit, we will work with them. Please let the church office know when someone is going into the hospital by contacting us at (954) 752-0333. If you have further questions or would like to get involved, contact Ray Wehrenberg.

Stephen Ministers

Stephen Ministers are important members of our Congregational Care team.  They receive special training to provide Christian care to individuals and families in our congregation as well as community.  Their training allows them to help those who are dealing with grief, hospitalization, loneliness, divorce, job loss, and disabilities.  To learn how to become a Stephen Minister contact Pam Wegner
